Information we collect
Information you provide. Our inquiry form collects your name, email address, organization, optional role, whether you are contacting us as a partner or investor, and your message. We also receive information you provide in related correspondence or privacy requests. Please do not send passwords, payment details, sensitive personal information, or confidential technical information through the form.
Technical and security information. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, request details, and browser and device information. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from bots. Turnstile processes IP addresses and browser and connection signals, and our server sends the submission's IP address and verification token to Cloudflare for verification. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Website measurements. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits, page views, referring websites, general country information, browser and device categories, and website performance. It does not use analytics cookies or track individuals across websites. Separately, we record accepted inquiry counts by category and time. Those count records do not include your name, email address, organization, message, IP address, or verification token.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, assess potential business relationships, continue conversations you initiate, maintain relevant business records, operate and improve the website, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in communicating with business contacts, operating and protecting the website, and understanding its performance; steps you request before entering a contract, where applicable; and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Who receives information
Inquiries are delivered to the Osmotech team members who handle partner or investor conversations. We use Cloudflare for hosting, security, analytics, and email delivery, and Google/Gmail to receive and manage those emails. These providers process information needed to provide their services.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect rights and safety, or work with professional advisers. If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, relevant information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising pixels on this website.
Cookies and browser choices
Our Web Analytics service does not use cookies. Cloudflare security features may use necessary cookies or similar technologies to prevent abuse and remember security checks. You can manage cookies through your browser; blocking security technologies may affect access or form submission.
The website does not change its operation in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal. We do not use your activity on this website for cross-site advertising. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for that advertising, there is no such sale or sharing for a Global Privacy Control signal to opt you out of. Other privacy requests can be sent to the address below.
Retention and security
We retain inquiries and related correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage an ongoing business relationship, maintain necessary records, or meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. The relevant factors include the nature of the conversation, whether a relationship remains active, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it, subject to lawful retention needs and backup cycles.
We use safeguards intended to protect personal information, including encrypted website connections and controls on access to our systems. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.
International processing
Osmotech is based in the United States. Our service providers operate internationally, so information may be processed in the United States and other countries whose privacy laws differ from those where you live. Any legally required safeguards for those transfers must apply; visiting the website is not a request to waive your privacy rights.
Your choices and rights
You can ask about information we hold about you or request access, correction, or deletion by emailing privacy@osmotech.io. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to receive a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, appeal a decision on a request, or complain to a privacy regulator.
We respond in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority before acting. Some records may need to be retained for legal reasons. We do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. You may contact the same address to challenge our response or request an explanation.
Children
This website is intended for adult business audiences and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. We will post the revised policy with an updated effective date and provide additional notice when required by law.
